He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Watkins; his sisters, Eula Ray Bailey and Kathileen Stevens; his children, Randy Keefer and Tami Mayes; his grandchildren, Brady Odom, Heather Torralba, Caleb Mayes and Aaron "AJ" Mayes; his great grandchildren, Ellis and Emma Odom; his grandchildren, Celese Covey, Colten Crawford and Rylee Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Saydee Hall and Layton Covey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
