He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy M. Stewart. He is survived by: his son William Michael Stewart (Janice); his granddaughter Kristie M. Givens; his great grandchildren, Matthew and Connor; his stepson Chuck Hall; and his stepgrandsons, Jonathan, Stephen and Adam.
