She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Cleveland Sawyer and Nannie Bettie Ashby Sawyer; her husband Robert Earl Palmer (Buck); her son Larry Wayne Butcher, Sr.; and her siblings, Opal Frame, Nell Johnson, Delta Wiseman, Maude McDonald, Bobbie Burns and J. W. Sawyer.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Lamberth (Gary), Marsha Sherrill, Jeff Palmer (Grace) and Daren Palmer (Monica); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Guill. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at Temple Baptist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
