She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Whitehead and Sarah Stewart Whitehead; and her husband Riley "R. K.". She is survived by: her siblings, Noel Whitehead, Ralph Whitehead, Rubert Whitehead, Solon Whitehead, Willene Kennedy and Mildred Robinson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family asks that all in attendance wear a mask and follow social distancing practices as outlined by the CDC.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
