He is survived by: his wife Tina Garland Rippy; his sons, Chason Rippy (Megan) and Chris Rippy; and his siblings, John Rippy of White House, TN, Renee Emery (Randall) of Gallatin, TN and Dana Stribling (Mark) of White House, TN.
