She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Straw and Ruth Straw; her husband James Armstrong; her son Michael Steele; and her grandson Andrew Steele.
She is survived by: her sons, Don Steele (Glynda) of White House, Tennessee. and Alan Steele (Kathy) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Kelsie, Scott, Kristen, Kate, Brandon and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Amaya, Charlotte, Jack, Caroline and Penny Jo; her stepdaughter Brenda Crawford; her stepgrandson Justin; and her brothers, Don Straw of Clinton and Jack Straw of Menasha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
