It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane McMurtry of White House, Tennessee, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilford Buntin and Essie Marie Parker Buntin; her husband Billy Ray McMurtry; and her siblings, Barbara Walls and Robert Buntin.
She is survived by: her daughter Kellie Stone Morgan (Terry); her siblings, James Buntin (Linda), Margie Brown of Springfield, TN and Deborah Buntin Jones (Bill); her siblings-in-law, Clarence Walls of White House, TN and Donna Buntin of Portland, TN; her grandchildren, Allaine Morgan and Michael Yancy; and her great grandchildren, Ty Yancy and Chance Yancy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are encouraged to The Nashville Rescue Mission or to Second Harvest Food Bank.
