He is survived by: his parent Angie Mearl Townsend Mattox; his sons, Steve Mattox (Patrice) and Mike Mattox; and his sisters, Hazel Perry of Rogersville, AL, Lucille Franklin (Bobby) of Columbia, TN and Kathleen Violet (Paul) of Smithville, TN. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
