It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Ruth McPeters of Wartburg, Tennessee, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Greene and Houk Greene; her husband Archie Davis McPeters; and her siblings, Rueben, Bruce, Johnny, Earnest, Mae and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Marie LaRue (Lonnie) and Donald Clark McPeters (Evelyn); her grandsons, Todd Davis Hamby (Judy) and Donald Clark McPeters II; her great grandchildren, Derrick Ray Davis Hamby, Miss Kayla Marie Hamby and Stephen Travis Hamby; and her great great grandchild Willow Hamby.
