He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Simpson and Mary Simpson (White); and his brothers, Johnny Simpson, Terry Simpson, Pete Simpson and Michael Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lewis of Lewisburg, Jeff Simpson (Jodie) of Union City and Michael Simpson (Brenda) of Union City; his siblings, Linda Hurst of Paragould, Arkansas, Harry Simpson (Vicki) of Rutherford and Jamie Simpson of Paragould, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Tyler Lewis of Columbia, Eric Lewis (Kimberly Miller) of Nashville, Madeline Hawley (Blake) of Knoxville, Chelsea Simpson of Union City, Hailey Simpson of Union City, Elana Hale of Union City, Hunter Hale of Union City and Heather Jones (Bill) of Kingston, Ontario; and his great grandchildren, Charlie Lewis of Columbia, Cooper Lewis of Columbia, Weston Jones of Kingston, Harrison Jones of Kingston, Grayson Jones of Kingston, Tanner Bishop of Union City and Tessa Bishop of Union City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
