He was predeceased by: his brothers, Shawn White and Nathaniel Horton; his parents, Roy Phillips and Ruby Phillips (Rice); his wife Dorothy May Phillips (Seaman); his daughter Sherri Phillips; his stepson Dale Seaman; and his brother David Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Foor of Shelbyville, Sue Phillips of Shelbyville, Angela Jessie of Shelbyville and Kelly Jones (Shane) of Union City; his stepchildren, Rhonda Merritt (Mark) of Union City and Darrell Seaman of Peoria, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Phillips of Troy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
