He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jernigan, and Lola Jernigan, Sr. (Stanley); and his brother Stanley Ray Jernigan. He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Townes (David); his grandchildren, Davie and Jake Townes; his great grandchild Leighton Reese Townes; his caregiver Judy J. Taylor of Union City; and his nephew Turner Neil Jernigan of Nashville.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East View Cemetery (1516 E Mathews St, Union City, TN 38261).
