He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Martin and Ollar Brymer Martin; his brothers, Felix, Bobby, Danny, James, Perry and Ed Martin; and his grandson Russell King.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Shockley Martin of Tullahoma; his children, Jayson Martin (Suzie) of Tullahoma, Joshua Martin (Sheena) of Tullahoma, April Martin (Steven Freeman) of Lynchburg and Misty Newby of Birmingham, Alabama.; and his siblings, Mary Jo Smith of McMinnville, Gail Potter of McMinnville, Geneva Bratcher of McMinnville, Patsy McCormick of McMinnville, Jerrie Bryant of McMinnville, Paul Martin of McMinnville and Clarence Martin of Somerset. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
