He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Montgomery and Hattie Nelson Montgomery; his stepmother Jean Ward Montgomery; and his sister Janet Holder. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Tankersley Montgomery; his son Justin Montgomery; and his siblings, Melody Norris (Michael), Deborah Tibbets (Michael), Sherry Brown, Pat Jones and B. R. Jones (Kristia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
