He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Damron and Chester Whitmore Damron; his wife Carolyn Sawyer Damron; and his son-in-law Bobby Goodwin. He is survived by: his children, Dewayne Damron (Jennifer), John Damron (Darla) and Cindy Goodwin; his grandchildren, Cory Damron, Reagan Damron, Lucy Damron, Katherine Damron, Jenna Damron, Thomas Goodwin and Callie Goodwin; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Chase, Carly and Beau.
