She is survived by: her parents, John William Dickinson Sr. and Mary Lotte Somervill (Charlotte); her spouse John Carthel Nowell Jr.; her sons, John Dickinson Nowell, Thomas Somervill Nowell and Tom (Beth); and her grandchildren, Carl Robert and Anna Caroline.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends a donation to First Presbyterian Church, Trenton.
