She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Jasper Scobey and Golden Bradford Scobey; and her sisters, Bettie Burton and Sue Clark. She is survived by: her husband Earl Wayne Avery; her daughter Darla C. Scobey of Jackson, Tennessee; her stepchildren, Andrea Wheeler of Jackson, Tennessee and Russell W. Avery of Jackson; and her grandchildren, Britni Young, Golden Ariel Hicks, Kate Whitby and Collin Avery. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
