She was predeceased by: her daughter Cecil James Jefferson; her sister Blondale McCann; her son Barry Clanton; and her siblings, Almetta Azbell and Danny Ray Azbell.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Adams of Altoona, Charlie Clanton, Greg Clanton, Scott Boswell (Michelle) of Society Hill, SC and John Kravis (Sally) of Michigan City, IN; her sisters, Martha Ballinger of Dyersburg, Nina Lovell of Tiptonville and Janet Wisneski of Moscow; and also Julia Almma Brooks Azbell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
