It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hester Howell (Tiptonville, Tennessee), born in Ridgely, Tennessee, who passed away on June 15, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Serlie Howell; and her siblings, Helen Rose Jones, Joe Rivers and Ross Rivers. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Cox of Tiptonville, Billy Goodlett of Tiptonville, Teresa Tacker of Tiptonville, Milton Howell (Billie) of Tiptonville, Walter L. Howell (Tammy) of Tiptonville, Richard Howell of Tiptonville and Charlie Howell (Elizabeth) of Hickman, KY; and her brothers, Lee Morris of Troy, Joe Morris of Troy and Jim Morris of Troy. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
