He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Sue Tipton; and his grandparents, Hazel Carpenter, John, Jr. and Ruth Tipton. He is survived by: his father Jerry Tipton; his brothers, Greg Tipton (Amy) and Patrick Tipton (Terra); his nieces and nephews, Athena Dalton (John), Noah Tipton, Alyssa Tipton and Dillon Mullins; and his great-niece Avery Dalton.

Due to Covid restrictions, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Dalton Church Cemetery, Thorn Hill.
