He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Maxey and Ibbie Maxey; his siblings, Arthena Sue Maxey, Adra Lee Price (Johnny), Lorene Mullins and Ollin Maxey (Carol); his parents-in-law, Warren and Anna Yount of Whitesburg; and his brother-in-law Ronald Yount of Lenoir City.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Yount Maxey; his sons, Barry (Stacy Maxey), David (Julie Maxey) and Jason (Jessica Maxey); his grandchildren, Natasha Maxey Vogt (Joey), Holli Barger (Jordan), Hannah Sexton (Colt), Kayla Maxey Williams (Eric), Patrick Gibson, Chloe Maxey (Collin), Sadie Maxey and Jenna Maxey; his sisters-in-law, Stacy Johnson (Allen), Jenny Vandergriff (Dennis) and Shirley Yount; and his grandsons, Joey, Jordan, Eric, Colt, Jace, Jaxon and Collin. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many friends.
