It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sybil Rose of Ten Mile, Tennessee, born in Harriman, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 81, on December 6, 2020. She was predeceased by: her husband James Rose (Ed); her daughter Tonya Lynette Rose; her parents, Sidney J. Shipwash, Sr. and Ellen Newcomb Shipwash; and her brothers, Sidney Shipwash Jr. (Mary), James Shipwash (Jimmy), Paul (Maggie Rose), Ralph (Betty Rose) and Dyke Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Jones (Greg) of Kingston, Randy Rose (Lynne) of Soddy Daisy, Sandra Edgemon (Arch) of Watkinsville, GA and Michael Rose (Casonya) of Knoxville; her grandson Brent Myers (Jamie); her great grandchild Aylor Myers; her sisters, Ruth Ann Tudor (Larry) of Ten Mile and Susan Townsend (Melvin) of Ten Mile; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Walker of Kingston and Phyllis Shipwash. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family ask that everyone wear a mask and obtain social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Shiloh Baptist Church designated to the Shipwash Family Life Center, 4242 Decatur Highway, Kingston, TN 37763.
