Sidney Shipwash Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2020, at the age of 81, Sidney Shipwash of Ten Mile, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lillian Oliver Shipwash; his parents, Sidney J. Shipwash, Sr. and Ellen Newcomb Shipwash; and his brother James Shipwash. He is survived by: his children, Marcie Nichols (Jeff) of Loudon, Jeff Shipwash (Jackie) of Oak Ridge, Bryan Shipwash (Kim) of Kingston and Candace Byerly (David) of Lenoir City; his sisters, Sybil Rose of Ten Mile, Ruth Tudor (Larry) of Ten Mile and Susan Townsend (Melvin) of Ten Mile; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Shipwash of Ten Mile. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held at Kingston Memorial Gardens and the family will hold a celebration of his life after the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a memorial to your local animal shelter or the charity of your choice.
