She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Daniel and Geraldine Porter Risher; her husband C. O. Schumpert; her daughter Teresa Coleman; her granddaughter Natalie Coleman; her great grandchild LaShea Anderson; and her sisters, Ann Tisdale and Connie Steed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances (Carey Bishop), Deborah Schumpert of Tellico Village and Rosie (Bobby Maddron); her son-in-law Darrell Coleman of Knoxville; and her brother Don Risher of Chester. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-granchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Holston Children's Home, 404 Holston Drive, Greeneville, TN 37743.
