It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Wayne Tipps (Ten Mile, Tennessee), born in Winchester, Tennessee, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Virgil Tipps and Ruth Tipps. He is survived by: his wife Erna Freudenberg Tipps; his daughters, Shelley Tipps Keeley (Mike) and Dee Tipps; his grandchildren, Jordie Ivey (Ross), Zade Shamsi-Basha (Caroline), Tyler Keeley (Rachel), Dury Shamsi-Basha, Demi Shamsi-Basha and Drake Lindell; and his great grandchild Samuel Ivey.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Luminary Church- Wayne Tipps Memorial Fund.
