She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Freeman; her son Arlis Freeman; her siblings, Walter "Doc" (Mary Lou Shell), Charlie Shell (Rhoda Shell), Mary (Olie Jones), Haley (Elbert Jones), Ada (Frank Brannon) and Sallie Smith; and her son-in-law Kenneth Merrell.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Walter Merrill), Darlene (Norman Jones), Margie (Curtis Crowder), Rosie Merrill, Heartley (Inez Freeman) and Archie Freeman; and her daughter-in-law Thelma Freeman. She is also survived by grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
