He is survived by: his wife Sandra Monger; his daughter Kressa of Tellico Plains; his son-in-law Tony Mason of Tellico Plains; his son Stacy; his daughter-in-law Holly Monger of Seymour; his grandchildren, Chandler Monger, Tanner Mason (Josie Wallace), Isabella Monger and Briley Burch; his siblings, James (Frankie Monger), Wayne (Debbie Monger), Carolyn (Charles Underwood), Lavonda "Lovey" (Dillard Roberts) and Tina (Denny Houston); his mother-in-law Irene Hamilton of Tellico Plains; and his close friend Larry Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
