It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mazel McKenzie (Tellico Plains, Tennessee), who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jonathan Peter; and her siblings, Irene Hutchison, RuthAnna Howell, Phyllis Webb, Melvin, Jr., Blanche Howell and Sylvia Norwood Givens.
She is survived by: her husband William Austin McKenzie; her children, James McKenzie (Debra) of Madisonville, Michael McKenzie (Patricia) of Etowah and Susan Herndon of Daleville, Ala; her grandchildren, Mark McKenzie of Etowah, Jamie McKenzie (Nona) of Etowah, Jodi Watkins (Jason) of Madisonville, Samantha Beck (Jerrod) of Elba, Ala and Jonathan Herndon of Searsport, Maine; her great grandchildren, Jared Watkins, Jalyn Watkins, Derek McKenzie, Brody McKenzie, Alyssa Akers, Jace Beck and Wyatt Beck; and her brother Samuel Tilley of West Jordan, Utah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Her children request that family and friends make a memorial donation to their charity of choice.
