He was predeceased by: his wife IsaMae Moore; his parents, Timothy Moore and Ruth Wakefield Moore; his grandsons, James Paul Moore and Scott Sylvester; and his siblings, Anna Bilyeu, Aquilla Wooley, Betty Moore, George, Ray, Timothy and Glen Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis (Dan Robbins), Patricia (Daryl Coury) and James D. Moore; his siblings, Sinamae Newman, Pansy Recane and Bill; his sister-in-law Wanda Moore; his grandchildren, Sherry Ledford of Tellico Plains, Tracy Sims of Cleveland, Darrell Woolum and Marissa Moore; his great grandchildren, Chasity True, Jessica Ledford, Kelsey Herman, Drew Herman and Noah Sylvester; and his great great grandchildren, Reagan, Riley, Levi True, Lawson Wilson and Melody Moore.
