He was predeceased by: his parents, Uless Norwood and Janie Norwood; and his siblings, Dubert, Haskell, Archie, Harvest "Bill", Oughtley Norwood, Sarah Thomas, Bernice Carter and Bessie Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Norwood; his children, Regina "Susanne" Edge, Donna Jones, Billy Joe Norwood and Cheryl Norwood (Janie Marsingill); and his sister Daisy Passmore. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
