He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hill and Juanita Hill; and his parents-in-law, John Ed Beasley and Edna Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hill; his sister Linda Whitten; his niece Elaina Whitten; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Beasley, John Beasley (Arletta), Burl Beasley (Lena) and Clifford Beasley (Aileen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
