He is survived by: his children, Teresa Elkins, Michael Elkins, Larry Elkins and Nancy Oberly; and his grandchildren, Rusty Heath, Dusty Elkins, Larissa Burns, Jackson Elkins, Kale Rogers, Mason Elkins and Jalen Tyson. He is also survived by wife and caregiver, Waunita Elkins Charles; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
