James Michael Purkey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2020, at the age of 73, James Michael Purkey (Talbott, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Purkey and Hazel Purkey; and his son Tony Purkey. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherrie Harris (Mike), Christy Walker (Bill Mullins) and Stephanie Nix (Jeff); his close friend Faye Powell; and his siblings, Janie Purkey, Jennifer Purkey, Karen Catsimanes and Chris Purkey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu or flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
