He is survived by: his wife Eva Lakins; his children, James Thomas "Tom" Lakins (Tammy) and Bridget Lakins; his grandchildren, Ashley Wright, Keith Ryan Humbard Jr., Lori Leann Humbard and Weslen Lakins; his great grandchildren, Drake, Cade Wright, Braxton and Bryson Gardner; and his siblings, Agnes Gaylon, Curt Lakins (Velma), Randall Lakins and David Lakins (Sherry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
