He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rines and Esther Rines. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Rines; his children, Greg Rines (Christina) and Crystal Wells (Scott); his grandchildren, Taylor Rines, Tyler Rines (Emily Hubbard), Brody Rines, Kelsey Rines and Dylan Wells; and his siblings, Pam Bogle (Henry) and Tony Rines (Krista).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lebanon Baptist Church, 7925 Greenbriar Road, Talbott, TN 37877.
