He was predeceased by: his son Bill McCoy (William Albert); his parents, Myrtle McCoy and Hi McCoy; his siblings, Gay McCoy Spencer, Joyce McCoy Tackett, Jeanette McCoy Robinson, Loris, Bob and Challen McCoy; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie, W. C. Fraley (Bill) and Beth (Wade Christian).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fraley McCoy; his daughter Kim McCoy Glenn (Dan); his daughter-in-law VaLena McCoy; his grandchildren, Jason and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Keyton, Conner and Dailey; his niece Pam Robinson; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Sexton (Gary), Baker Fraley (Mary) and Jean Fraley. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
