He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Coy Parsons and Pearl Parsons; his wife Mary Ruth Parsons; his children, John Parsons (Maggie), Bobby Parsons (Karen), Mary Ann Snyder (Ben) and Susan Cradic (Billy); his grandchildren, Matt Parsons, Dillon Parsons (Kayla), Amber Seals (Ian), Rachael Snyder, Jenny Johns (Cordell), Annie, Mason Parsons, Isaiah Crowe, Coy, Kallie Seals, JT and Lilah Parsons; and his siblings, Betty Linville and Coy Parsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hawkins County Color Guard.
