He is survived by: his wife Velma Manis Richards; his son David "Big Time" Richards (Shelly); his grandson Curtis Byrd (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Cameron and Evamarie Byrd; his siblings, Sally Mulkey (Lee), Carey McCain (Jim), Mary Syverson (Herbert) and Brady Richards (Helen); and his close friend Dylan Riner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
