She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Pyle and Eleanor Brashear Pyle; her husband Dr. Earl Hobbs, Jr.; her children, Barbara Kristine Chipman and Thomas Steven Hobbs; and her sisters, Beverly Baker, Joyce Kuellen and Jean Cooke.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Mitchell (Eliot); her sisters, Susan Hoeft and Teddy Kremer (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Barnes, Leighton Ash, Neysa Neice, Ryan Ash, Andrea Holtmeyer, Holly Weaver, John Chipman, Eliot Mitchell, Jr., Danielle Mitchell and Branden Mitchell. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
