She was predeceased by: her parents, William Madewell and Dovie Sparkman Madewell; her husband Lowell Grissom; her grandsons, Cory Grissom and Adam Grissom; and her siblings, Elizabeth Sullivan, Betty Jo Madewell, Bill Madewell, Howard Madewell, Estes Madewell and Don Madewell.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Grissom (Donna), Billy Joe Grissom and Jerry Lee Grissom; her grandchildren, Kelly Lewis, Laura Grissom, Amber Delong, Logan Grissom, Jordan Grissom, Jaleta Grissom, Bobby Joe Grissom, Bridgett Grissom, David Young, Sam Grissom, Stephanie McCoy, Crystal Owens and Justin Grissom; her sisters, Nina V. Forsythe and Maudie Thomison; and her sisters-in-law, Lucille Madewell, Mamie Madewell, Betty Jean Madewell and Elizabeth Boles. She is also survived by 40 great grandchildren a great great grandchild.
