He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford R. Woods Sr. and Virgie O'Dell Woods; his brothers, Carl Jerome, Gerald Ross and Stephen Foster Woods; his children, James Woods (Jabe) and Jacqueline Woods Rovinski (Marion Woods); and his grandsons, Clifford Woods (Chipper) and Douglas Wayne Rovinski.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Cox Byerley of Maynardville, Paul Woods of Oregon, Harold Woods of Andersonville and James Woods (Jim) of Heiskell; and his children, Clifford R. Woods, III of Knoxville, Charles Woods (Chuck) of Powell, Carl Woods (Rick) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Robert Woods (Robbie) of Francesville, IN, Elizabeth Brinkley (Libby) of Knoxville and Morna Hespeline of Allison Park, PA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
