He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Big Bill" Milton Ellison and Patsy Lee Bean Ellison; and his brother Johnny Earl Ellison. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Ellison McKinney (Jake), Amy Ellison Welch (Andy) and Emily Ellison Burdette (Cory); his grandchildren, Jared McKinney (Carly), Ashlyn McKinney (Joe Dean), Clayton Welch (Destiny), Chase Burdette and Laura Burdette; and his great grandchildren, Blakely Welch, Zenduya Welch, Grayson McKinney, Cooper McKinney and Kasen Dean.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Ellison Family Cemetery.
