She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willard Milner and Dorothy Milner; her husband Billy; her children, Debbi Nelson, Coleen Whiteaker (Jim), Anna Cortier (Ron Slagle), Charlotte Smith, Jacqueline Sheedy (Dave), Janine Mabry (Scott), Jeff Leath (Joy) and Jean Cortier (Molly); and her sisters, Janet Catano and Sue Short. She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

During the early days of Covid, Linda and her children began a Sunday evening Zoom call.
