He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold, Paul, Frank Thomason, Beck Gingerich, Peggy Keaton and Charlotte Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thomason of Liberty; his children, Brittney Schwartz (Carl) of Sparta and Joe Thomason, Jr. (Of Murfreesboro); his grandchildren, Autumn Belle Redmon and Cody Thomason; and his siblings, Jessie Thomason of Indiana and Sue Trusty of Carthage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers , the family ask that donations be made to Dowelltown Baptist Church playground fund, in memory of Joe.
