He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carpenter and Mary "Janie" Carpenter; and his half-brother Johnny Lee Carpenter. He is survived by: his stepmother Karen Kay Carpenter of Smithville; his siblings, Melody Carpenter-Jaquinta of Liberty, Karon Noon (Lisa) of Florida and Michael Carpenter (Mary Anne) of Liberty; his half-siblings, Sharon Carpenter of Missouri, Shauna Green (Bill) of Georgia, James Biggerstaff (Julie) of Arkansas, John Rex Phillips of Texas and Kirk Carpenter of Virginia; his nephews, Michael Carpenter (Debra), Matthew Carpenter (Alex) and Logan Carpenter; his niece Micah Carpenter; and his great-niece Molly Carpenter of Smithville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lighthouse Christian Camp or to the DeKalb Animal Coalition in memory of Craig.
