He was predeceased by: his wife Artha; his former wife Carolyn; his parents, Earnest and Ella; his siblings, Margaret, Jim, Sue and Glen; and his parents-in-law, Dott (Susy), Nanabelle (Junior) and Warren (Helen).
He is survived by: his children, Cathy, Kenny (Beth), Karen and Kent (Ginger); his grandchildren, Josh Armstrong (Amanda), Emily Brooks (Travis) and Noah Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Elizabeth, Emerson, Baker, Everett and James; his sisters, Edith and Nancy; his stepchildren, Conni Skidmore and Joe Hensley; and also Keith Vaughn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the mission fund at Valley Grove Baptist Church, 9000 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
