We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2022, at the age of 78, James Edward Houser of Seymour, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Edward Houser to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his son James "Jimmy" E. Houser, Jr. (Kathleen); his parents, George and Lucille; and his siblings, George, Joe, Lee Roy Houser, Ruby Powers, Willie Tullock, Evelyn Baker and June Haggard.

He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Mink (Allan); his grandchildren, A. J., Makensie Mink, Alex, Taylor, Jordan Coffman, Billy and Nick Bartus; and his siblings, Harold (Bonnie), Ray (Donna), Lois Bunch and Dot Chapman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He joined Sevier County Sherriff's Department, furthering his contribution to the Sevier County community.
