We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 79, Wiley Proffitt of Sevierville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Luther Proffitt and Mary Annette King Proffitt; his brother Phillip Kenneth Proffitt; and his pet Cotton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elizabeth Warren Proffitt; his daughters, Katrina Jean P. Evans (Matthew Bridges), Angela Marie Proffitt Cathcart and Teresa Gail Proffitt Thompson; his grandchildren, Amanda Machelle Norton (Zack), Daniel Marcellus Evans (Amanda), Dakota Lee Cathcart and Casey Gene Thompson; his great grandchild Kayleigh Beck; his siblings, James Luther Proffitt (Rue) and Shirley Ann Proffitt McKnight; his sister-in-law Barbara Sue Proffitt; and his pet Wendy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
