He is survived by: his wife Susan Kennedy Austin; his son Brian Austin (Codi); his siblings, Charles Austin, Harold Austin (Wanda), James Austin (Ginny) and Peggy Brasher (Roy); his grandson Ty Austin; and his close friends, Dwayne White and Ray "Hootie" McCay.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
