He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schenk and Leona Higley Schenk; his wife Virginia Schenk; and his siblings, Jim Schenk, Marie Cullip, Geraldine Murray and Goldie Holdread.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Schenk (Diane) of Murfreesboro, Rex M. Schenk (Judy) of Arizona, Nancy Cummins (Brad) of Idaho and Marva Netherland of Indiana; and his brother Ray Schenk of Indiana. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
